NAML encourages Muslims to consider a career in the law and recognizes that the growth and development of Muslim law student organizations directly correlates to the future of NAML and the strength of Muslim legal professionals.  NAML therefore is affiliated with the National Muslim Law Students Association (NMLSA) (www.nmlsa.org).  Over the past several years, a number of Muslim law student associations have been created at law schools in the U.S. and Canada.  NMLSA represents Muslim law students and local Muslim Law Students Association chapters, working towards the goal of giving Muslims in the legal field academic assistance, career help, and furthering the social needs of Muslims.
